Give the gift of life!
While the world around us may be changing, the need for blood never has.
Blood plays an indispensable part in any hospital and clinics at any age.
Volunteer donation fosters a feeling of doing something generous for others by standing in solidarity, anonymously, with those in need; itβs the ultimate βpay it forward.β In less than 30 minutes of your time, three lives can be saved. Thatβs why we are counting on you to make blood donation part of your new normal!
The Qatar National Blood Donation Center (QNBDC) serves as the sole health organization supplying blood resources throughout Qatar. The primary objective of the center is to encourage voluntary blood donations to fulfill the requirements of both public and private hospitals in the country. The entire process of donating blood at the center, which encompasses donor registration, a medical interview, a physical examination and assessment, blood collection, and post-donation care, typically lasts around one hour.
The QNBDC is located at the West Energy Center on Mohammad bin Thani Street and accommodates both whole blood and platelet donors.
